Dr. Harley Eisman
Pediatrician, MDCM, FRCPC
Dr. Harley Eisman completed his medical school and General Pediatric training at McGill University. Subsequently, he completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency medicine at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where he has been on staff since 1997. Dr. Eisman recently completed a 13-year tenure as Director of Pediatric Emergency Services at the Montreal Children’s hospital., during which he consulted on design for the MUHC super hospital and was the MD responsible for coordinating the move of pediatric patients to the new facility. Dr. Eisman has extensive community pediatric experience in that he follows over 2000 families at Montreal's Children's Care Clinic, and since 2015 been the Pediatric Director of The Children's Clinic which offers General Pediatric, Specialty Pediatric, and Allied Health consultation to the Greater Montreal Area. Dr. Harley Eisman's related interests include Medical Informatics, Health Care Delivery, Patient Flow and Experience, and Cancer advocacy. Dr. Eisman and his wife are the proud parents of three children.
Dr. Janaki Vallipuram
Pediatrician, MD FRCPC
Dr. Janaki Vallipuram completed her medical degree and pediatric training at the University of Toronto. She started working as a hospital-based general paediatrician in 2017. She currently works at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and Markham Stouffville Hospital. Her interests include quality improvement and medical education.
Jennifer Welch
Lactation Consultant, IBCLC
As a member of the health care team, Jennifer, who is an IBCLC provides clinical lactation care. She is an expert in lactation care. With over a decade of experience working with families as an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), Jennifer is highly skilled and experienced in providing care for all types of situations, whether it is basic education, reassurance, or clinical care for complex situations. Her mission is to help new parents achieve their goals and adjust to parenthood. Jennifer maintains a bilingual and inclusive practice in Montreal focusing on direct client care as well as education for parents, volunteers and professionals. Active in her community, she has served as a volunteer La Leche League Leader, on the board of directors of the Quebec Lactation Consultant's Association (ACQ), The International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals (IATP), and is a founder of The International Consortium of Oral Ankylofrenula Professionals (ICAP).
Laura Leslie
Concussion Specialist, B.Sc., CAT(C), D.O.
Laura is an Osteopath (D.O.) and Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) with 30 years of clinical experience working with adult and pediatric concussion patients specializing in the clinical assessment and treatment of concussions and post-concussion syndrome. Laura is an international speaker on the assessment and treatment strategies for concussions. Laura is a leader of a National Concussion Committee responsible for the development and implementation of concussion assessment and treatment standards for clinics across Canada. Laura is a clinical consultant to B2Ten, a non-profit organization supporting Olympic medal hopeful athletes. As a member of the Corporation des Thérapeutes du Sport du Québec (CTSQ) Concussion Committee, Laura is working towards the development and implementation of concussion standards for Athletic Therapy in Quebec.
Leanne Matlow
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Counsellor
Leanne is a cognitive behavioural therapy counsellor with a private practice specializing in anxiety for children and adolescents. She is trained as a teacher and guidance counsellor, with a Master's from Toronto’s Institute of Child Study, OISE and certificates in CBT from the Beck Institute in Philadelphia. Leanne is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Providers (OAMHP).
Dr. Mark Tessaro
Pediatrician, MD, FRCPC, RCPSC (PEM)
Dr. Mark Tessaro completed his Paediatrics residency and Paediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine Ultrasound at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He focuses on technology evaluation, cost-effectiveness, usability, and outcomes measurement through seminars, courses, and project-based work.
Melissa Oziel
Speech-Language Pathologist, M.Sc.SLP
Melissa Oziel is a registered speech-language pathologist with a Masters of Science from Columbia University in New York City. She is the director of The Speech and Language Associates of Toronto, Inc. (SLAT) striving to build a love of communication for all of her clients. Melissa is bilingually certified and has worked extensively with hundreds of families, conducting assessments and treatment procedures for culturally diverse communities. Melissa is a mom of four and she strives to empower all children to reach their goal of communication, Through her knowledge and experiences her goal is to build strong, fearless children who see their differences as gifts.
Michelle Watkins
Registered Dietitian
Michelle is very passionate about pediatric nutrition. It has been her favourite role that she has had as a Registered Dietitian over the past 25 years. It is her pleasure to assist families to optimize their nutritional health and manage nutrition issues. For Michelle, a rewarding part about working with children is observing the positive impact that nutrition can have on a child’s growth and development.
Dr. Pamela Mitelman
Sleep Consultant
Dr. Pamela Mitelman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Montreal, Canada. She treats children of all ages with sleep difficulties. Overall family wellness is at the center of her approach. Dr. Mitelman provides counseling and education to parents of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. She uses cognitive-behavioral interventions to treat school-age children and teens.
Tammy Cooper
Registered Dietitian
Tammy Cooper is a Registered Dietitian with a private nutritional consulting practice after completing a rewarding career at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). She has twenty years of pediatric experience with a specialization in juvenile diabetes and was involved in Diabetes research. Her personal values and commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle support an empathetic and therapeutic approach to nutritional wellness. Tammy has worked in Diabetes/Endocrinology, Immune Deficiency, Nephrology, Spina Bifida, and Outpatient Nutrition Clinic, offering therapeutic nutrition support for clients aged 0-18 years.
Dr. Allan Shefrin
Pediatrician, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Allan Shefrin joined the pediatric Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). He is currently the division lead for point-of-care ultrasound and is actively involved in high-fidelity simulation teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students. His clinical and research interests are the incorporation of point-of-care ultrasound into pediatric emergency care and teaching high-stakes procedures and clinical encounters using simulation.
Dr. Sumeet Sadana
Pediatrician, MBBS, FRCPC
Dr. Sumeet Sadana is a Consultant Pediatrician and the owner of Capital KidZ Medical Centre in Ottawa. He has particular interests in ADHD and infant growth & development, and has also been providing virtual care services for over 10 years. He is a member of the Department of Pediatrics at the Queensway Carleton Hospital where he served as Chief from 2008-2016. Dr. Sadana is a Lecturer at the University of Ottawa, a member of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Community CME Committee, and he co-chairs the annual CHEO Pediatric Refresher Course. He has been an advisor to the Child & Youth Regional Services Recovery Planning subcommittee (for Eastern Ontario) under the Champlain Region Integrated Service Planning Committee and served as the co-Lead for the Innovations and Solutions Working Group to support the restoration of pediatric services affected by the Covid pandemic. Dr. Sadana is also an associate co-founder of the Ottawa Community Pediatricians Network.
Dr. Gillian Dolansky
Pediatrician, MD, FRCPC
After working overseas as a medic following her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Gillian Dolansky earned her MD at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario in London, ON. She then completed both her pediatrics residency and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) through the University of Ottawa. She joined the Division of Emergency Medicine at CHEO immediately following her fellowship in late 2013. Since that time, she has developed a clinical and academic interest in Pediatric concussion care & management. She currently also consults for 360 Concussion Care in Ottawa.
Dr. Amina Lalani
Pediatrician, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Amina Lalani joined the Department of Pediatric Emergency Medicine in 2003. She obtained her medical doctorate from the University of British Columbia, followed by a pediatric residency at the University of Alberta. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children.
Dr. Natalia Manay
Psychologist, PhD, CPsych
Dr. Natalia Manay is a psychologist licensed with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed her graduate training in the School and Child Psychology program at McGill University. Dr. Manay provides assessment, therapy, and consultation to children, adolescents, young adults, and families to help them with a range of needs including anxiety, depression, trauma, attention difficulties, school or academic challenges, autism, social difficulties, and family relationships. She likes to draw from various approaches to provide a warm and supportive environment, foster a positive therapeutic relationship, and develop a treatment plan that best fits the client's needs.
Frances Fishman
Behaviour Analyst
Frances Fishman is the founder and owner of The Play Base. She is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with her M.Ed. in Developmental Psychology and Education. Frances is a hard-working, empathetic, and loving woman, leader, and entrepreneur who took her passion and turned it into her career. With over 12 years of experience in behaviour modification in the home, community, and educational settings, as well as being a mother of 3, she has developed a skill set and a perspective that has allowed her tremendous success with her team and client base. She is an optimist who believes that every person can be given the chance to live to their highest potential when given a loving approach and a team who believes in them and sees the incredible potential of each individual.
Dr. Stephanie Davenport
Pediatrician, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Stephanie Davenport graduated from medical school, with honours, from the University of Sydney in Australia in 2012. She moved back to Canada and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Ottawa in 2017. Dr. Davenport is a lecturer at the University of Ottawa and her current interests for research and education are in critically ill neonates and burn and wound management. Dr. Davenport is a proud wife and mother to three young boys. She is passionate about lifestyle medicine and is an advocate for families to adopt a plant-based lifestyle for optimal health, compassion to the animals, and the most impactful way to address the climate crisis.

Doctor visits are completely free for patients with a valid health card. We are currently serving Ontario and Quebec and will soon grow to serve other provinces and territories.
Pediatric Care Specialist visits are billed by credit card at affordable rates – starting at $90+ per session – and reimbursable under most insurance plans.
