Tylenol (Acetaminophen) is used to treat mild to moderate pain and to reduce fever. Acetaminophen relieves pain by elevating the pain threshold, that is, by requiring a greater amount of pain to develop before your child feels it.
Tylenol (Acetaminophen) is used to reduce pain (from headaches, menstrual periods, toothaches, backaches, osteoarthritis, or cold/flu aches and pains), and fever.
Take this product by mouth as directed. Follow all directions on the product package. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Tylenol (Acetaminophen) usually has no side effects. If your child has any unusual effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Children should not take this medication for fever for more than 3 days unless directed by a doctor.
