There may be problems with your child’s GI tract if they exhibit these symptoms:
Constipation/diarrhea
GERD (gastroesophageal reflux, or acid reflux)
Abdominal pain
Feelings of nausea/vomiting
It's normal for your child to deal with stomach pain from time to time. However, if your child is dealing with serious discomfort or any of the symptoms above, contact a pediatrician for medical advice. Your child's pediatrician will be able to carry out examinations to determine the cause of the condition. In addition, your pediatrician can suggest treatment/medication to help with your child's condition. Along with the initial consultation, your pediatrician will be able to schedule follow-up appointments to further evaluate and care for your child's digestive health.
