No. KixCare offers direct access to a Pediatrician without the need for a referral, often within the same day. KixCare Pediatric Care Specialists are often available by self-referral within 1-2 days.

We treat all kids and teenagers, from the ages of 0-18.
KixCare Pediatricians proudly offer primary and (non-life threatening) urgent care that is high-quality, safe, and accessible. You can use KixCare to address any health concern that you would typically visit a walk-in clinic for.
If a Pediatrician or Pediatric Care Specialist cannot help you virtually, we will make every effort to direct you to the appropriate in-person care for your kid.
Doctor visits are completely free for patients with a valid health card. We are currently serving Ontario and Quebec and will soon grow to serve other provinces and territories.
Pediatric Care Specialist visits are billed by credit card at affordable rates – starting at $90+ per session – and reimbursable under most insurance plans.
